FORNICATION – ENGLISH ETYMOLOGY

(English & Latin: forn… ;  Greek: πορν…[transliterated: porn…])

Premise:  Today’s English definition of “fornication” has changed to condemn single people, just to support marriage.  But, God’s word was against “prostitution”: sex for money:

“hence unmarried sexual intercourse”?  No, one can have “unmarried sexual intercourse” without paying for it.  The wrong of “brothelling” is selling something that should be free.  The above definition indicates a specific place that this trade popularly occurred.  One can have “unmarried sexual intercourse” just about anywhere; but legally selling it can best be done at a specific location (a brothel).

You see, it’s not the Bible that’s corrupted, it’s the definition of the word that’s corrupted; obviously from pressures by the Church-turned-secular hundreds of years ago.  You see, before effective birth control, babies born out of wedlock presented welfare problems, as “civilization” removed the once vast “abundance” of God’s free food via farming, to motivate everyone to work some kind of financial gain job (mainly for the rich) or starve.

I don’t think it’s a man visiting a prostitute that’s so wrong.  I think it’s the essence of prostitution overall that’s the sin: anything that restricts sexual freedom, like marriage as a prerequisite, women who just (legally) use their sex to gain favors from men (which is the vast majority of it), etc.  From simple wining and dining to earning the biggest house in town, women need to learn how to become independent.  Revelation 18:13 tells that she can even obtain “souls of men,” as chapters 17-19 describe this conditional kind of love, and its eventual end.  Seeing everyone in sexual diversity (as free love would eventually cause) makes everyone (just adults) into a sexual value, and would therefore become a great love building tool, and would even create a great antiwar and anti-prejudice sentiment.  But again, I don’t recommend practicing promiscuous sex in this era, mainly because of STDs.  This information is provided just to pressure today’s Church to admit the truth; which should, in turn, allow more funding to find STD cures, as most people (who still believe the lie) aren’t going to want to spend their money on something that they “think” goes against God.  When the Church eventually tells the truth, everyone will know.
